I have to admit, we’ve loved Purity’s Milk ever since moving to Nashville, but I had never tried their famous ice cream. The Cocoa Loco flavor came highly recommended to me (It was invented by two high-school boysfor the 2008 Miss Martha’s Ice Cream Crankin’ event (which raises money for the Martha O’Bryan Center in E. Nashville) – the winner of the event, which is a day-long homemade ice cream contest, has their flavor become and official Purity flavor – mor info here http://puritylovers.com/ice-cream.php).
However, when I went to the store to pick out my ice cream, the Blackberry Cordial jumped out at me. I LOVE berry ice cream (it’s so hard to find these days!), especially when there’s CHOCOLATE mixed in to it!!! I have to say, it was everything I dreamed it would be! The ice cream itself was SO creamy and the combination of the blackberry ice cream with the chocolate chips was divine! If you haven’t tried Purity yet, I hope you’ll sign up for this giveaway.

Use What You’ve Got
I know you can take this to mean a lot of different things, but I have one very specific thing in mind today.
Have you ever received a gift card that you forgot about? Or been given a coupon for a free item that expired before you could use it?
I’m the first one to say that you can’t take advantage of every deal and every coupon, but if you have a true Freebie, make sure you do everything possible to take advantage of it! You wouldn’t just leave a $5 bill on the ground, would you? Then don’t let a $5 gift card swim around in the bottom of your purse or live under your junk mail pile!
Often times, retailers will use coupons like “$5 off a purchase of $5 or more” to lure you into the store, hoping that you’ll spend a lot more than $5. However, when a similar situation happened to me with a World Market coupon last month, I used that coupon to get 2 large bottles of Soy Sauce…and only paid about 30 cents for tax!
So make sure you keep those “FREE” coupons and gift cards in a special place to ensure they’ll be used – or better yet – give them to someone who you know will benefit from it!

There are some GREAT deals at Publix this week! I really haven’t been buying much there lately, with being out of town so much and the TRIPLE coupon deals at Kroger and Harris Teeter, but you definitely want to stop by and grab some of these. Also, I found two new PUBLIX COUPON INSERTS in the front of the store (one in the turnstile, and one on a separate display), so look for those, as I was able to get Lunchables for $.50 each and some cheap Tyson chicken when I paired those Publix coupons with our store’s IN-STORE specials.
